Synopsis
Chan, a kind but timid tuba player in the Royal Hong Kong Police Band, lives in the same apartment with Cheung, a student from The Police Training School. Chow is a detective, who has ever rewarded many medals for his bravery and wisdom when pursuing mobsters. Chan is a secret admirer of Joan, a new manager in a supermarket. With Cheung's help, they fall in love with each other gradually.

When Cheung knows Chow needs an insider to assist him in investigating the case, in which the mobster Changing Guy, extorted money from a rich merchant Kam, Cheung recommends Chan as the right person. Unfortunately, Chow is killed at the first fight with the mobsters. When he is dying, he asks Chan to revenge for him. But Chan totally forgets it after Chow's death. Chow's soul then pesters him again and again, even making him look like a fool in front of Joan's parents. in order not to spoil the affections with Joan, Chan promises to revenge for Chow. With the help of Chow's soul, Chan, along with Cheung, finally succeed to wipe out Changing Guy and his men.
